Man vs Machine is a Specialty Coffee Roaster founded in 2014.
We are 100% independent from day one. No investors. Just us.

We don’t do Robusta. We roast nothing but the highest grade Arabica Coffees (Specialty Grade >80pts.) Our main focus, always is and always will be quality before growth. We are happy to work with some of the finest intl. cafes and bars in the UK, EU and the UAE amongst others. Our coffee is also served in several Michelin starred restaurants and other quality driven places, like offices, restaurants and cafes.

We like good design and good magazines, so we are honoured to be featured in Monocle Magazine, Monocle Travel Guide, Elle Decoration, vogue.com,  Lonely Planet’s guide to the worlds best coffee places, National Geographic,  SZ, DieWelt, Architectural Digest and many more. "Der Feinschmecker" voted us one of Germany's best roasters. We have collaborated with Artek, Nudie jeans, Menu CPH, Peak Performance and others. We were selected to be the coffee partner for TED X Munich.  We have hosted numerous coffee classes for the likes of the City of Seattle, Die Zeit, Gaggenau, Rosenthal and others.  We like to play 90's HipHop beats, we like our vegan Banana Bread toasted, we were the first ones to offer Franzbrötchen in Munich. And we use every occasion to point out, that Michael Jordan is the GOAT.
