Munich is a city of neighbourhoods.
Each part of the city has its own rhythm, its own people and its own way of doing things.
That is also what makes having several coffee shops in Munich so interesting for us. Our cafés are not identical copies of each other. They are part of their neighbourhoods.
Whether you are looking for specialty coffee in Glockenbach, a Matcha in Maxvorstadt, a coffee break in Schwabing or a drink in the middle of Munich's old town, we might have a location for you :)
MvsM Specialty Coffee in Glockenbachviertel, Müllerstr. 23
Our Müllerstraße café is located in the heart of Munich's Glockenbachviertel.
The neighbourhood is known for its independent shops, restaurants, bars and lively city atmosphere. It is the kind of place where you can spend an entire day simply walking around, stopping whenever something catches your attention.
And that makes it a pretty good place for a coffee shop.
Come in for an espresso before heading into the city, grab a coffee and something to eat while exploring Glockenbach, or stay for a little longer with a Matcha or filter coffee.
Müllerstraße 23 was our first coffee shop and in the early beginnings we roasted there, making this location an important part of the MvsM story.
And yes, we have Franzbrötchen.
Some people even say we were the first ones to bring them to Munich.
We are not going to argue with that.
MvsM Specialty Coffee in Maxvorstadt, Schellingstr. 18
Schellingstraße puts MvsM right into the middle of Maxvorstadt.
The area is surrounded by universities, museums, galleries, shops, restaurants and the creative energy that has made Maxvorstadt one of Munich's best known neighbourhoods.
Our Schellingstraße café is a natural stop during a day in the area.
A quick espresso before class.
A Matcha Latte between meetings.
A filter coffee while exploring the neighbourhood.
Or simply a place to take a break.
Located at Schellingstraße 18, MvsM Maxvorstadt brings specialty coffee, Matcha and the usual MvsM energy to one of Munich's most active neighbourhoods.
MvsM Specialty Coffee in Schwabing, Hohenzollernstr. 32
Further north, you will find our Schwabing coffee shop at Hohenzollernstraße 32.
Schwabing has a long relationship with Munich's cultural and creative life. Today, it remains one of the city's most recognisable neighbourhoods and a place where people come to live, work, meet and spend time.
Our café is part of that everyday rhythm.

Hôtel de Ville - Marienplatz, Specialty Coffee and Matcha in the Heart of Munich
Then there is Hôtel de Ville.
Located directly at Marienplatz 8, Hôtel de Ville brings MvsM specialty coffee and ceremonial grade Matcha into the heart of Munich's historic city centre.
Marienplatz is where many visits to Munich begin. The Neues Rathaus, Frauenkirche and the surrounding old town are all within easy reach.
So whether you are visiting Munich for the first time or simply passing through the city centre, Hôtel de Ville offers a place to stop for coffee, Matcha and something to eat.
It is also a little different from our other cafés.
Hôtel de Ville is presented as Hôtel de Ville by Man Versus Machine Coffee Roasters & Ceremonial Grade Matcha, bringing together two of the things we have been working with for many years: Specialty coffee and Japanese Matcha.
